The Role

Account Managers typically work with a portfolio of industry sector specific clients, including higher education, health agencies, or employers, who want to provide mental wellbeing support to their population.  As a Togetherall Account Manager, you will build relationships with your clients, collaborating to develop strategies that maximize the impact of the platform, ultimately driving the renewal process for each account. 

Reporting directly to the Head of Account Management, North America. The role is remote (in North America) and will primarily focus on the higher education sector.

Key Responsibilities 

To be successful in this role, you will need to undertake the following:

  • Build strong relationships and manage stakeholder relationships within large, complex organizational clients
  • Manage the full renewal process, including value positioning, pricing proposals, negotiations, and contract closure
  • Plan and lead renewal and budget discussions well in advance of key timelines, ensuring clients have the information and support needed to secure ongoing contracts.  In partnership with clients and Togetherall’s marketing team, develop, execute, and continually refine engagement plans to ensure Togetherall is communicated appropriately, and member engagement targets are met
  • Use a CRM system (PipeDrive) to capture all client information including meetings, proposals, and contracts
  • Actively maintain contact with clients to ensure that they continue to be positive about the service. Be responsive to questions and effectively address any issues
  • Interpret platform data and client insights to support decision-making, provide strategic recommendations, and highlight impact
  • Partner with the internal operations team to implement and onboard new clients 
  • Build internal relationships to ensure partnership and overall business success 
  • Develop and maintain an excellent knowledge of the digital health space and the complexities of mental health services as it relates to the assigned sector
  • Travel as necessary across North America on behalf of clients and to raise market awareness of Togetherall (in line with safe travel standards). Travel expected to be less than 10%

About You 

  • At least 3 years of experience in a demonstrably comparable role, ideally in post-secondary or higher education, but will also consider experience in healthcare, mental health, and/or employee wellness sectors
  • Demonstrated track record of building, managing, and retaining successful multi-tiered client relationships
  • Proven experience of retention and growth within an existing portfolio of accounts (renewals and upsells are a fundamental part of the role) 
  • Demonstrable experience increasing engagement and adoption of a support solution 
  • Comfortable working autonomously and taking initiative to move things forward without needing detailed instructions 
  • Clear and confident communicator who takes ownership in written and verbal communication, and proactively follows up after meetings
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written); keenly client focused and numbers driven
  • Outstanding organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial, fast-moving environment Desire to work in a social impact business
  • Passion for the healthcare and/or mental health space
  • Experience in software solutions and services would be beneficial but not required
